We are as excited as we are happy and grateful to launch a project this month that we have been working towards for a long time:
Over the next few months we want to create video lessons for the entire repertoire of Matepe master musician Chaka Chawasarira, as well as his instrument building process, and make them available to a next generation of students in Zimbabwe and abroad.
The project is funded by the Federal Foreign Office (Germany’s ministry of foreign affairs) and supported by the cultural department of the German Embassy in Harare.
